Brüssow picked to tame Sharks

Cape Town - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské has picked Heinrich Brüssow at flank for their Super Rugby clash against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.

Brüssow replaces Lappies Labuschagné, who is out with a groin injury.

Brüssow, who played for Free State's Vodacom Cup side last week, joined up with his team-mates in Bloemfontein a few weeks ago after returning from his duties in Japan.

He had been sidelined for the last three months after injuring his toe playing for his club, the Docomo Red Hurricanes.

Flyhalf Johan Goosen, who was concussed in the 52-31 loss to the Crusaders last week, is also unavailable for selection.

Elgar Watts will start in his place, with Riaan Smith coming onto the bench as backline cover in the spot vacated by Watts's promotion.

There is also a change in the front row, where Caylib Oosthuizen will start at loosehead prop ahead of Springbok Trevor Nyakane - who drops down to the bench.

In the final change to the match-day squad, Raymond Rhule - who has recovered from his ankle injury - comes onto the bench in the place of Howard Mnisi.

Kick-off for Saturday's match at Kings Park is scheduled for 15:00.
