Brussow likely to get game time
Cape Town - The Cheetahs are likely to welcome back flank Heinrich Brussow for their Super Rugby clash against the Sharks in Bloemfontein this Saturday.
Brussow, 28, has not featured for the Cheetahs this year after returning from his club commitments in Japan with concussion.
However, according to Netwerk24, Brussow could play between 30 and 40 minutes as a substitute if he passes a medical.
"Heins is looking good, be he still needs (medical) approval," said Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske.
In other injury news, centre Francois Venter (ankle), loose forward Boom Prinsloo (concussion) and scrumhalf Sarel Pretorius (hamstring) will be given until Thursday to prove their fitness.
No 8 Willie Britz (hamstring) will not be available to face the Sharks, but he will board the team's flight for their Australasian tour on Sunday.
Saturday's clash at the Free State Stadium kicks off at 17:05.
