Brumbies do without Smith

Cape Town - Injured Brumbies flank George Smith has been replaced by Colby Faingaa for their Super Rugby match against the Blues in Auckland on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 09:35 SA time.

Smith suffered a medial ligament injury last weekend and is out of action for at least the next four weeks.

SA-born Clyde Rathbone joins the reserves to cover for Pat McCabe, who was injured last week.

The Brumbies are currently top of the Australian Conference, two points ahead of the Reds (who play the Stormers in Cape Town this weekend), and third in the Overall standings.

The Blues meanwhile find themselves third and sixth in the New Zealand Conference and Overall log, respectively.
