Cape Town - The Sharks have received a boost ahead of their clash against the Bulls at Kings Park with centre Meyer Bosman cleared to play.
Bosman was a doubt for the match after he sustained a nose injury in their 23-13 win over the Force in Perth last week.
It was initially feared he had broken his nose, but according to the Beeld website, the injury is not as severe which will see the Springbok take his place in midfield.
This will be a relief for Sharks coach John Plumtree, as they have already have JP Pietersen, Frans Steyn, Paul Jordaan and Tim Whitehead on the crocked list.
Had Bosman been absent, then Butch James would have been forced straight into the starting team after a long injury layoff.
With Pietersen being ruled out for an extended period due to a groin injury, Piet Lindeque is expected to partner Bosman in midfield.
The Sharks will take heart from their win in Perth, when they ended a run of five successive defeats. It will be tough against the high-riding Bulls though - who sit comfortably at the top of the SA Conference with 46 points from 11 games, leading the second-placed Cheetahs by six points.
The Sharks are third with 33 points from 12 games.
The clash at Kings Park kicks off at 19:10 on Saturday.
