The 2014 Super Rugby tournament opens with two SA derbies - in Bloemfontein between the Cheetahs and Lions (kick-off 17:05) and in Durban between the Cell C Sharks and Bulls (kick-off 19:10).

Leading bookies BetXchange have the Cheetahs at 4/9 to get their campaign off to a winning start, while the Lions, back in Super Rugby are sitting out last year's tournament, can be backed at 4/1. The draw is on offer at 28/1.

The day's other match, Jake White's Cell C Sharks side are 4/10 favourites to beat the Bulls (22/10), while those fancying the draw can try their luck at 25/1.
