Cape Town - The Boland Rugby Union is concerned about its relationship with Western Province and how they fit into the Stormers franchise structure.
According to Die Burger's website, Boland CEO Willie Small wants to meet with WP president Thelo Wakefield and CEO Rob Wagner to discuss the issue.
Small feels that Boland's players do not get enough opportunities to represent the Stormers in Super Rugby.
Springbok utility back Willie le Roux (who played for Boland in 2010 and 2011) and Bok Sevens player Carnal Hendricks are examples of talented players snubbed by the Stormers in recent years.
Small said they would like to improve their relationship with WP as their fans want to know why their players aren't featuring often for the Stormers.
The Boland Cavaliers are currently participating in the Currie Cup First Division, and currently lie fifth on the overall log, with four league matches remaining.
They tackle the Falcons in Kempton Park on Saturday (15:00 kick-off).
