Bok duo back for Sharks

Cape Town - The return of two Springboks will be welcomed by the Sharks as they prepare to face the Bulls in their Super Rugby encounter at Kings Park this weekend.

According to the Beeld website, a potential crisis at centre could see the return of Butch James, who's been sidelined with a knee injury since joining from the Lions.

JP Pietersen, who played at outside centre the past two weeks, injured his groin in their 23-13 win over the Force in Perth on Friday and could miss the clash against the SA conference leaders, while his centre partner Meyer Bosman's availability is also in doubt after he suffered what looked like a broken nose.

And with Frans Steyn, Paul Jordaan and Tim Whitehead still out injured, James could be brought straight into the starting team in the No 12 jersey, with Piet Lindeque potentially joining him in midfield.

More good news for the Sharks is that Bok hooker Bismarck du Plessis is fit again after a long recovery from a knee injury. He will likely start on the bench though.

Their clash against the Bulls at Kings Park kicks off at 19:10 on Saturday evening.
