Walsh to ref Bulls v 'Canes

Cape Town - Steve Walsh will referee the Super 14 clash between the Bulls and touring Hurricanes at Loftus Versfeld on Friday night.

Kick-off is at 19:10 SA time.

Walsh, 37, has come under fire for his performances in this year's tournament after sitting out most of 2009 after losing his job with the New Zealand Rugby Union due to a self-confessed drinking problem.

Walsh, who has subsequently left New Zealand, now resides in Sydney, and is listed as one of Australia's Super 14 referees.
