Stormers fans in search of tickets for Saturday's Super 14 semifinal showdown with the Waratahs were left fuming on Tuesday morning after the Computicket system crashed, according to a report on rugby365.com.

WIN: Stormers v Waratahs tickets

Irate fans called into radio stations and posted messages on social networking site Twitter, complaining that they had been unable to buy tickets for the Stormers' crunch match against the 'Tahs at Newlands Stadium.

Eyewitness News reported that dozens of fans had been unable to secure tickets after standing in queues for several hours.

It is a bad omen for the Stormers, Computicket crash and so will the rugby prostitutes of the Stormers who sold their body and soul for money to play in this Barbarian team. Like all prostitutes they will just stay for a while and then move on to "greener" (see $$$$) pastures. No love, just freaking money! Truth of the matter is that there are as many low class stormer supporters on these forums as there are bulls supporters - sadly and it is the same phenomena the world all over (yeah NZ and OZ as well) - human nature. You are in the Stormers group but trying to hide it by highlighting how bad "ALL" (sic) of the opposition are. Much better to focus on the good on both sides and the rugga. Surely any real BOK fan wants to see the Bulls and Stormers in the final. Then its great to support your team (Bulls for me) knowing that SA Rugby is the real winner. The majority of Boks will be from these 2 sides and they'll all need our support from 5 June. @ Sydney Tahs - The difference between SA and Aus is here the conflict happens on the net. I must say you guys are carrying on like a bunch of third world plonkers. What should be a great occasion for South Africa is turning into a bitch fight. First of all I think the Bull supporters are the most arrogant uneducated bunch of supporters ever seen. On any blog you would think you know the most about rugby. So your team has won two titles but hell the Crusaders are so much better than you. Give the Stormers their due that they made the semi final. They deserved the second spot because they played great rugby and yes they will be playing against my team on Saturday. They would have beaten your A side with the way they were playing and you sent your B team with a bunch of guys trying to injure the Stormers. Bully boys grow up and please realise that rugby does not start and end with your team - and please tell your supporters who attend the matches to stop dressing like clowns because here in Oz we think you are ridiculous. I must admit, being a Stormers fan. Past Saterday's game has me worried. We beat the Bulls B team, but it should have been by a higher margin, so hats off to the BB team. However, even though everyone(myself included) was not happy about the B team playing, I believe we could have won even if we played the A team. Just goes to show what softies the Bulls are cuz they had to rest the whole team. And I wonder how big the Bulls mouths will be if they lose against the Sader, Which I hope they don't cuz I WANT TO SEE STORMERS VS BULLS full strength and I think the rest of SA also wants to see it. It's not so much Computicket, but rather the Newlands ticket system which is cr@p. The same thing happened at last years game between Bulls-WP because the same Newlands ticket system handled the ticket issuing. Computicket is merely a middle man between you the buyer and Newlands the seller. Did anyone have problems buying tickets for the Bulls semi ? I wonder why ...

F^&*k Computicket. I am trying since 13:00 when sales were supposed to open for bus tickets to travel to Soweto coming Saturday. The system is either overloaded or it is loading for 30 minutes at a time, eventually throwing me off. Shame on Computicket. I dont know why sports unions still bother to engage them in bookings. They cannot manage!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No worries for the Stormers fans - the main game is the Bulls/Crusaders crunch, and they can catch that on TV. It will give them an idea of what they or the Waratahs will be up against the next week. Be afraid, be very afraid!

I think this is a big f-UP - we waited for 3 hours at CompuTicket at Tygervally only to hear that only about 6 tickets was issued from 9:00 to 11:00 --- I am very sorry but I dont want to pay = R250 per ticket for a 80 min game and wait 180 min for the tickets! Please conputicket - get your site up to date with technilogy - and stop waiting money / time on displaying adds / and pictures and JAVA aps...while trying to issues 48 000 tickets in 3 hours. I say -- if your site get slow -- got to a fast console (text based) system and let the ppl add contact details and for a list of users you can phone back to issues the tickets via your call centre ... At least then you have a list of the ppl who wants to buy tickets and the ppl can get the tickets ... if not via the Web or Computicket outlet....then via your call centre staff. The assistant confirmed that in that whole time, nobody in her office of 24 assistants had managed to secure one transaction. She assured me that it was not Computicket but they were forced to use the Newlands computer server, and that is where the problem is/was. I experienced the same problem when trying for the Bulls game. To this time now (15h13), from 09h00 when booking opened, I have been unable to get into the Computicket web site.

Computicket is PATHETIC !!! the same happened yesterday when I wanted to buy tickets for the Orlando game. Don't even think that it is better today, when I went in to Checkers to buy tickets for the parking and busses from Nasrec to Orlando, they said tickets were still "on hold". It was supposed to be available at 13:00. PLEASE can we use somebody else next time... The people at the Blue Bulls office weren't very helpful or sympathetic either !!!

I was twice told by a lady at the Newlands office to dial a number to make a booking telephonically. I held on for +- 95 minutes when someone eventually answered the phone only to tell me sorry they don't do telephonic bookings and that I had to go and stand in the queue. I hope someone sorts out that ticket department because everyone makes up their own rules whenever they feel like it. It is pathetic and a disgrace to waste supporters time and money for nothing. I still don’t have any tickets!

I always said that the Computicket system was fragile. I do hope that this can be sorted out though. I remember all the people complaining the FIFA's ticketing system sucked and that Computicket were better. Events like this is why I don't believe that Computicket could do it.

I tried since 9am to get tickets online, eventually at 10am I went to the Checkers only to stand in the queue for 30 minutes with nobody being served. I then had to go to work. While at work I checked +- every 15 minutes to see if their site was functioning. It's now 2:40pm in the after noon and still no joy. Total waste of my time and just shows what amateurs Computicket are, not to have foreseen this.

Computicket is pathetic. I am lucky that i managed to get tickets, but only because i started queued half an hour before tickets went on sale. Exactly the same thing happened with the Bulls-WP semi last year and it is unacceptable that in all that time they have not adjusted their system to handle something of this nature again
