Johannesburg - Bulls flank Deon Stegmann pleaded guilty before the Sanzar judical officer Peter Hobbs at the New Zealand Rugby Unions office's in Wellington on Saturday.
Stegmann was suspended for three weeks following his dangerous tackle on All Blacks centre Conrad Smith in the Super 14 match against the Hurricanes, which the Bulls won 19-14.
Stegmann will be returning to South Africa and is replaced by Namibian international Jacques Burger, who will join the team this weekend.
Burger was withdrawn from Friday's Vodacom Cup match against the Lions because of Stegmann's suspension and his call-up to join the side.
The Bulls still have to play four of their five matches on the Australasian leg of their commitments and face the Highlanders, Crusaders, Waratahs and Brumbies over the next four weeks.
