Sharks welcome back injured

Durban - After their bye this past weekend, the Sharks have been able to welcome back some of their injured players to full fitness while others have dropped out of the match-day 22 for their Super 14 rugby clash against the Highlanders at Absa Stadium this Saturday.

Ruan Pienaar and Jean Deysel have been named to start at flyhalf and blindside flank respectively, with both players having overcome long-term knee injuries.

With Pienaar back at flyhalf, Frans Steyn returns to inside centre where he started the season, but he will have a new face outside of him, that of Riaan Swanepoel who will fill the No 13 jersey in the absence of Adi Jacobs who is out with a shoulder injury.

Waylon Murray is not in the match-day 22 as he is still battling with a troublesome knee injury while there is also an injury cloud over captain Johann Muller who is bracketed with Albert van den Berg.
