SARU clarify Stormers' 'try'

Johannesburg - SARU has confirmed that the Stormers’ second try in the Super 14 final was awarded by referee, Craig Joubert, for the grounding of the ball over the line by replacement loose forward Pieter Louw.

Replacement scrumhalf Ricky Januarie appeared to have scored the try, but he placed the ball short of the line, whereupon Louw picked up the ball to score.

The Bulls won the final 25-17, their third Super Rugby title in four years.
