Hurricanes make five changes

Cape Town - Hurricanes coach Colin Cooper has made five changes to the team that lost to the Cheetahs in round four of rugby's Super 14.

Cooper brought in prop Jacob Ellison and flanker Scott Waldrom on Thursday for the match against the Stormers.

All Blacks center Conrad Smith and wing Tamati Ellison, Jacob's brother, were recalled for Saturday's top-four contest after recovering from injury.

Willie Ripia has replaced Aaron Cruden at flyhalf.

The Hurricanes won their first three games of the season but fell to a surprise 28-12 defeat to the Cheetahs last weekend.

The Stormers have conceded just 38 points in their four games, the least in the 2010 competition.

They beat the Highlanders 33-0 in round four.
