Johannesburg - The Lions have included eight Springboks in their 26-man touring squad to Australasia where they will play the Chiefs, Blues, Reds and the Force.
Jaque Fourie, Henno Mentz, Ashwin Willemse, Andre Pretorius, Earl Rose, Lawrence Sephaka, Heinke van der Merwe and Jannes Labuschagne are the Lions players who have been selected for South Africa, although Rose has not played in the Springbok jersey yet.
The Lions' first match, against the Chiefs, is on Saturday April 4. The Lions still play the Hurricanes, who went down against the Bulls in a fiercely contested match last weekend, in Johannesburg before their departure on Sunday.
