@Willie - Apparently you and I are the only two who watch the Lions games!! Earl Rose must definatly be giving the coach or someone on the lions board some special favours!! Man alive i honestly want to pull my hair out when i see earl rose on the starting line up! and to make it worse they add Burton "i dunno what im doing so i kick the ball away" francis to the squad!!

@Crusaders. Dont know what you are on about. For a champion side i dont belive you will even make the semis. I bet when the Crusaders travel to SA you will be to embarrest to even make a comment. HAHAHAHA, dont know why im laughing but you obviously think its cool.

The Crusader will win by 20,all you CHOPS who think the Lions can beat the Crusader have s#%$ for brains.I will see you all eat your words with a big grin after the game HAHAHAHAHAH

I am a staunch Lions supporter. But the Crusaders can only put 8 guys on the field at the moment, as Earl Rose will make up for the rest of their team. In every game he gives at least 10 to 20 points to the opposition team. I cannot understand how the Lions could have bought him from Western Province. This guy is the most useless idiot to ever pull on a rugby jersey.

Not even a weakened team can loose against the lions...lions are the S14 slaansakke year in and year out..and this year is no diffirent..They must change their name to "WELPIES 15"...scorline 68-10 to saders !!

The Lions to win by 20 points. The Crusaders are nowhere near the side they were.To leave out 5 All BLACKS is arrogance and it will cost them the match.New Zealand rugby has never been weaker and i will be surprised if they have one winner this weekend

Disrespect? Have a look at the replacements taking over... Colin Slade is an awesome player who was the Crusaders 1st choice flyhalf last season in Carter's absence. Also, Thomas Waldrom and Chris Jack are both seasoned veterans, both coming off injury lay-offs, so need some game time. So what better way to introduce them than against a rather poor Lions team? It makes perfect sense to me. What's the point in risking injury to your top players against a Lions team that will in all likelihood go out to "spoil" the Crusaders rhythm and this usually involves dodgy tactics like off-the-ball stuff, irresponsible tackling, etc etc.... Its not disrespect, its just logic, something abviously missing for alot on these blogs!

@rugger - well said. Can't blame the Crusaders for doing this - I would do the same - especially after last weeks Lions performance. @dingbat - spot on. and yes, it will be outrageously funny if the Lions pull off an upset :) Here's hoping! GO LIONS!!!
JOE 3/18/2010 3:34 PM
@Leonard julle praat nou regtig k@k...ken jy iets van rugby jou box in afrikaans?Die verswakte Saders gaan die welpies karnuffel.
Carl3/18/2010 3:33 PM
Aaargh! This AFTER I made my SuperBru pick...
cruz3/18/2010 3:28 PM
Hope the Lions finally fire on all cylinders and have a bit of self-belief so as to upset these arrogant wops.
Wynand3/18/2010 3:24 PM
Oooo don't be too cocky, they might just see their arses! Go Lions!
bob3/18/2010 3:14 PM
i'm the bigest lions fan ever , but if you good you are good. Just because a team is wise enough to rest their top players against a weak side, lets be honest the lions are extreamly weak at the moment and with their self esteem so low after last week, does not mean they are being disrespectful. All love to the lions but after the way they have been playing the Crusaders can rest half their side not just their top players .
Deon L3/18/2010 3:12 PM
The Lions are on a loosing streak, even now thy will be beaten by at least 20 points.

This just might be a mistake. Hulle vat nou regtig die Lions vir n gat. Hoop hier kom n upset.
Crushaders3/18/2010 2:55 PM
Thank you for ruining my fantasy team, I hope you're not going to regret this decision.
bok4life3/18/2010 2:54 PM
I hope Earl and burton get stretchered off! (not really - but i do hope they get dropped!!) OMG they are rubbish!! What i do really hope is that LIONS CRUSH the 'saders!! and we see Richie McCaw cries like a baby off the field!!
@Leonard3/18/2010 2:53 PM
Lol. Was thinking the same. Would be outrageously funny if the Lions pull off an upset. But don't think it will happen. Most teams will prob rest their stars against the Lions and Force.
STORMER3/18/2010 2:51 PM
@Leonard. What would you do mate? The Saders have some BRUTAL away fixtures this year. You wouldn't rest your stars, at home, against a team with Earl Rose in it?
Dingbat3/18/2010 2:45 PM
No problem, rest the guys, but be very careful. This competition has proven that any side can be beaten on a given day. If the Lions have their mindset right, they will not be an easy pushover. They are not as poor as last week suggests. Mistakes and lack of confidance can be rectified. Rather rotate the guys evenly than all at once.
Leonard3/18/2010 2:35 PM
Now this is disrespectfull and arrogance from the NZ
