Stormers v Cheetahs in warm-up

Cape Town - The Stormers and Cheetahs will tackle each other in a pre-season match in Cape Town later this month.

Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske confirmed to Netwerk24 that the match will take place in in the Mother City on January 30.

It will form part of both teams' preparations for this year's Super Rugby competition.

The Cheetahs will play three warm-up games before the season proper. They also tackle the Bulls in Polokwane on January 24 and the Griffons in Bloemfontein on January 31. Two different outfits will tackle the Stormers and Griffons on consecutive days.

The central franchise start their Super Rugby campaign away to the Sharks in Durban on February 14, while the Stormers tackle the Bulls in Pretoria on the same day.
