Cape Town - This year's beaten semi-finalists, the Stormers, are the bookies' favourites to once again fly the South African flag in next year's Vodacom Super Rugby tournament.
The Stormers, who were beaten 29-10 in the semi-finals by the Crusaders at Newlands this year, are quoted as South Africa's best bet at 6/1 to win next year's title, by bookmakers BET.co.za.
The Crusaders have been installed as 3/1 favourites, followed by defending champions, the Reds, at 4/1.
The Sharks (13/2), Bulls (10/1), Lions (33/1) and Cheetahs (40/1) are next best among the SA contingent.
New Zealand's five franchises confirmed their squads on Wednesday, with the Melbourne Rebels having done so on Tuesday.
No date has been set for the confirmation of when the South African squads will be named.
