WATCH: Div takes comical dig at Bok setup

Cape Town - Former Springbok coach Peter de Villiers has appeared in a comical advert that takes a gentle swipe at the current setup of the national side.

Clearly meant in jest and in support of Movember, a month in which men are encouraged to grow facial hair to raise cancer awareness, the King Price Insurance advert draws entertaining parallels between growing a successful moustache and coaching the Boks.

De Villiers, who coached the Boks between 2008 and 2011, is filmed while at a barber shop where discusses the intricacies of growing the perfect moustache.

De Villiers, because of his own moustache, was affectionately known as 'Snorre' during his tenure as Bok coach.

Under De Villiers' leadership the Boks won the 2009 Tri Nations and claimed a 2-1 series win over the British and Irish Lions in that same year.
