Stats give Boks advantage heading to Loftus

Cape Town - Heading into Saturday’s first Test against France in Pretoria, the Springboks boast a healthy head-to-head record against their opponents.

In 39 matches to date between the two nations over the years, the Springboks have won 22, lost 11 and drew 6 times.

The Springboks' record at home against France is less impressive though. In 21 Tests in South Africa, the Boks have won 10, lost 6, with 5 draws.

Saturday’s Test will be the third match at Loftus Versfeld between the two countries.

The previous two, in 1975 and 1980, were comfortably won by South Africa with a combined score of 70-33.

Saturday's clash is scheduled for 17:00.
