Cape Town - The Springbok squad for the start of the 2017 Rugby Championship will be named on Saturday, August 5 after the Super Rugby Final at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
The 33-man Bok squad will be confirmed through a SA Rugby media release and on Supersport, at approximately 18h45 on Saturday evening.
The players will assemble on Tuesday, August 8 in Port Elizabeth to start with their preparations for the first Test against Argentina at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday, August 19.
Springbok coach Allister Coetzee and his management staff will arrive a day earlier already in the Friendly City.
There will be several opportunities for Port Elizabeth rugby supporters to engage with the Springboks in the two-week build-up to the Pumas Test, with full details to be confirmed in the next few days.
