Unwanted Bok XV v Unwanted All Blacks XV

Cape Town - As much has been made of those players who won't be at the 2015 Rugby World Cup as has been made of those who will be packing their bags.

There were tears of joy - and sadness - after the Springboks confirmed their 31-man squad for the tournament in Durban on Friday night.

Two days later in Wellington, a similar scene played out as Steve Hansen's squad to defend the Webb Ellis Cup was revealed.

It's clear from those not making the trip that the world will be deprived of seeing some tremendous talent from September 18 to October 31 in England and Wales.

So what would an "Unwanted Springbok XV v Unwanted All Blacks XV" line-up look like?

Pretty darn impressive!

The million dollar never-to-be-known answer is obviously, who would win such a match... ?

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
