Steyn posts pic from Maldives

Cape Town - While many Springbok fans would love to see Frans Steyn tackle Ireland in Dublin this weekend, the mercurial centre-cum-flyhalf-cum-fullback is busy holidaying in the Maldives...

Steyn took to Twitter on Thursday to post a picture of his wife a child in the sunny climes of the Indian Ocean island.

Steyn, 27, married Linca Meyer in June 2012.

Steyn shocked the rugby fraternity when he pulled of out the Boks' Incoming Series in June this year, amid reports he left over a dispute over money with SARU.

Steyn has played 53 Tests for the Springboks, scoring 132 points in the process.
