Springbok Test tickets on sale

Cape Town - Springbok fans will have only three opportunities in South Africa to see the Rugby World Cup squad take shape as the countdown to the tournament kick off draws nearer.

Tickets for the Rugby Championship matches against New Zealand in Johannesburg (July 25) and Argentina in Durban (August 8) are already on sale. The match against a World XV in Cape Town (July 11) will go on sale on next month.

The Boks will also play Australia in Brisbane (July 18) and Argentina in Buenos Aires (August 15) in a season condensed to clear the calendar for the Rugby World Cup. That means supporters have limited opportunities to see Heyneke Meyer’s final squad take shape.

And fans are being offered exceptional added value by host unions when buying their tickets; fans of the Lions and Sharks can bundle in a season ticket with their Test ticket for as little as R330 for example, which includes their final home Super Rugby match(es) and home encounters in the Currie Cup (terms and conditions apply).

South Africa v World XV - Saturday, July 11, Newlands, Cape Town

- Value added offer: Season tickets are available from just R1 600, which includes a possible Vodacom Super Rugby playoff (final excluded), as well as the entire Absa Currie Cup season (possible final excluded) and the World XV fixture. - - Scholars season tickets are available at the low price of R170, including all possible finals and the World XV clash.

South Africa v New Zealand, Saturday, July 25, Emirates Airline Park, Johannesburg

- Ticket prices: From R350 to R750
- Value added offer: For only R800, season tickets can be bought, which includes the Test against NZ, home Absa Currie Cup matches and possible semi-final, entry into a draw to win a car and accommodation at certain hotels to the value of R5 800 (terms and conditions apply).
- Parking: Unfortunately all parking is already sold out for this Test match, however other convenient options are available. Both the Gautrain and Park and Ride facilities will run for the match. Tickets can be pre-purchased.

- Tickets can be purchased from the Sharks Ticket Office or www.sharksrugby.co.za
- Ticket Prices:
o R350 – Adults
o R280 – Sibaya Super Stand
o R150 – Scholars
- Value added offer: Fans can now also purchase a season ticket which includes the Test against Argentina and the Absa Currie Cup (including possible playoffs) for R330 (Sibaya Super Stand), R495 (Bronze zone) or R900 (Silver zone). The season tickets include vouchers for Checkers, Sibaya Casino and Aqua Restaurant.
