Ref change for SA v Samoa

Cape Town - There have been late referee changes for Saturday's Incoming Series Tests between Italy and Scotland, and South Africa and Samoa.

These changes were necessitated following an injury during training to Ireland’s John Lacey, who was scheduled to referee the match between the Springboks and Samoa.

Pascal Guazère of France will now be in charge of this match, while Leighton Hughes of Wales the referee in the Test between Scotland and Italy.

Updated match official appointments for Loftus Versfeld:

Scotland v Italy (14:15)

Referee: Leighton Hodges (Wales)
Assistant referees: Lourens van der Merwe (South Africa), Cobus Wessels (South Africa)
Television match official: Deon van Blommestein (South Africa)

South Africa v Samoa (17:15)

Referee: Pascal Gauzère (France)
Assistant referees: Nigel Hennessy (Wales), JP Doyle (England)
Television match official: Deon van Blommestein (South Africa)
