Cape Town - Springbok flyhalf Pat Lambie will see a specialist in Durban on Thursday to determine his availability.
A neck injury saw the Sharks pivot miss the latter half of the Super Rugby competition and there is uncertainty regarding his availability for the Springboks’ first game against a World XV at Newlands on July 11.
“I’m going to see the doctor for a final examination,” Lambie told Netwerk24. “I hope to be fit and available for the World XV match as well as the Rugby Championship.”
Lambie, 24, has played 40 Tests for the Springboks since making his debut in 2010.
