Cape Town - Five Springbok legends are set to be inducted into the International Rugby Board’s Hall of Fame.
According to Beeld, Joost van der Westhuizen, Naas Botha, Morné du Plessis, Danie Gerber, Hennie Muller are among 37 players to be inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame in the next year.
The news comes alongside the announcement that the International Rugby Hall of Fame and IRB Hall of Fame are to merge.
Other big names in rugby to also crack the nod are Don Clarke, John Kirwan, Colin Meads, Grant Fox and Sean Fitzpatrick (all New Zealand), JPR Williams (Wales), Tim Horan (Australia) and Jean-Pierre Rives (France), as well as legendary Scottish commentator Bill McLaren.
