Cape Town - It appears that the injury to Springbok flank Francois Louw won't keep him out of South Africa's year-end tour matches.
Louw's participation was cast in doubt after he suffered a neck injury during Bath's English Premiership victory over Exeter over the weekend.
However, Bath’s director of rugby, Gary Gold, told the Beeld website that the 27-year-old Louw should be ready for South Africa's Tests against Ireland, Scotland and England next month.
"It doesn't look like there will be any problems with Flo (Louw). He had a stiff neck after the match and there were fears it could be a neck vertebrae. But it doesn't look like it's that," said Gold.
Gold will reduce Louw's workload ahead of Sunday’s Premiership match at London Welsh. He should then be ready to join the Boks, who play their first Test against the Irish in Dublin on November 10.
