Toulon - Bakkies Botha has tweeted a picture of his broken arm following an operation to have nine screws and a plate inserted.
The Springbok and Toulon lock successfully underwent an operation to have a plate inserted in his arm after he broke it in Toulon's 23-10 Top 14 defeat against Brive.
Botha will be out for two-and-a-half months, but in true Bakkies-style, he said he was eager to get back on the pitch as quickly as possible and hoped to be ready to play in Toulon's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster on April 6.
Botha tweeted this message with the picture:
"Plaat met 9 skroewe het hulle darem mooi in gesit nou is daar nog 10kg by op die skaal. LOL pic.twitter.com/kv9rq4FxTO"
