Springboks' Test record against the USA

Cape Town - The Springboks boast an unbeaten record against the USA heading into their Rugby World Cup clash in London on Wednesday.

In 3 previous encounters dating back to 1981, the Springboks have emerged victorious on all 3 occasions.

Of those 3 Tests, all 3 have been played outside of South Africa. The first 2 took place in the USA (Glenville and Houston), with the most recent clash coming at the 2007 Rugby World Cup in Montpellier.

The Springboks have scored 145 points and conceded 42 for an average final score of 48-14.
