Johannesburg - The case between FNB and National Stadiums on who will have the naming rights to the Soccer World Cup final stadium, Soccer City, was postponed on Tuesday.
National Stadiums spokesperson Brescia Bianco-Badenhorst said the case was postponed because there were no judges available at the High Court in Johannesburg.
"It has been postponed until Wednesday or Thursday. We don't know when yet we are still waiting for confirmation," she said.
FNB launched an urgent application to keep the naming rights to Soccer City.
The stadium was called "the FNB Stadium" before the Soccer World Cup. It was changed to Soccer City as FIFA did not allow the names of stadiums to include corporate brand names.
National Stadiums currently manages the stadium.
The name Soccer City was scheduled to change to the National Stadium on August 21 for the Springbok's first-ever Test at the venue against the All Black's in a Tri-Nations match.
