France call in Chiocci, Bastareaud

Cape Town - France have suffered another setback after it was confirmed that loosehead prop Eddy Ben Arous has been ruled out of their squad for the Six Nations.

The 26-year-old Racing 92 forward, who has 14 international appearances to his name, is replaced by Toulon prop Xavier Chiocci in the group.

Meanwhile, after only being called in for Wesley Fofana on Sunday, Henry Chavancy has been replaced in the squad by Mathieu Bastareaud.

France, who finished in fifth position in 2016, kick-off their Six Nations campaign against England at Twickenham on Saturday, February 4.
