Denton, Gray injury blow for Scotland

London - Injured Scotland forwards David Denton and Jonny Gray will both miss the team's Six Nations finale away to Ireland this weekend, it was announced Tuesday.

Second row forward Gray was ruled out after a scan showed he had suffered a partial tear to a chest muscle during Scotland's 29-18 win over France at Murrayfield on Sunday where he locked the home scrum alongside brother Richie.

Meanwhile back-row forward Denton has returned to English club side Bath for further treatment on the groin injury that saw him miss Scotland's preceding win over Italy.

Scotland scrum-half Finn Russell, who went off with concussion in the opening minutes against France, is still being monitored ahead of Saturday's match in Dublin.
