Cape Town - Wales second-row Luke Charteris believes he's sufficiently fit enough to start for his country in their Six Nations clash with Ireland.
He featured for Bath on Saturday as he continues to return from a broken hand, having come off the bench against Scotland in Round 3.
And rangy second-row Charteris has stated that he feels ready for international rugby, telling BBC Sport: "I feel good and would give it a go."
"It was a fast paced game," he added on the Premiership outing which Bath lost to Wasps.
"It was good to get a run out, it has been a stop start season so far.
"The hand felt good, which was the main thing. I might have been back sooner but I managed to pull my hamstring in training.
"I am fully over that now with two games under my belt.
"Hopefully it will be good to finish the season, stay injury free and play some rugby."
