Durban - The Sharks are said to be in advanced negotiations with Perpignan No 10 Steve Meyer as they look to sign another flyhalf ahead of the Super 14 competition.
Star Argentinian flyhalf Juan Hernandez has been ruled out of the Super 14 with injury, and the Sharks have now turned their attention to what they hope will be a long-term signing.
Meyer played for the coastal franchise before establishing himself at the French club, but the Sharks and the players' agent are now in talks as the Durban team look to lure the Kearsney College product back to the Absa Stadium.
