Cape Town - The Blitzboks have been drawn in Pool C alongside England, Scotland and South Korea for next month’s Hong Kong Sevens.
The event is scheduled for the weekend of April 6-8.
The Blitzboks are expected to field a weakened squad in Hong Kong as the tournament is closely followed by the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast (April 14-15).
After six rounds, the South Africans are currently top of the World Rugby Sevens Series standings with 109 points.
Hong Kong Sevens pools:
Pool A: Fiji, New Zealand, Russia, Samoa
Pool B: Kenya, Australia, Spain, Canada
Pool C: South Africa, England, Scotland, South Korea
