New faces for All Black Sevens

Cape Town - New Zealand have called in three players ahead of the Singapore Sevens, replacing the injured Pita Ahki, Sam Dickson, Tim Mikkelson and Lewis Ormond.

The new faces are Antonio Kiri Kiri, Josh van Leishout and Isaac Te Aute.

Ahki (shoulder), Dickson (leg), Mikkelson (ankle) and Ormond (foot) sustained injuries in Hong Kong while DJ Forbes will also return home.

"Forbes' return is part of his long term conditioning plan to ensure he is in the best possible shape to be in contention for the New Zealand Olympic sevens team. At Hong Kong he equalled the World Series record for tournament appearances of 79," read an All Blacks Sevens statement.

New Zealand finished the Hong Kong event in second place and have been drawn alongside USA, France and Canada in the Singapore tournament.
