Kolbe shines in Blitzbok victory

Cape Town - The Blitzboks will play Australia in the Plate Final of the Dubai Sevens after defeating Argentina in a semi-final encounter by 26-5.

The Blitzboks dominated proceedings in the first half with Cheslin Kobe (2) and Francois Hougaard crossing the white wash for a 19-0 half-time lead. 

In the second half the Blitzboks extended their lead through a breakaway try by Justin Geduld although they lost Juan de Jongh to a yellow card for a high tackle.

Argentina managed to get on the scoreboard through a consolation try by Axel Muller. 

Earlier, the Blitzboks were defeated by the USA in the main competition, ending their chance of defending their Dubai title. 

The Plate Final will take place at 16:53 (SA time).
