Blitzboks to face hosts Australia in Sydney semis

Cape Town - The Blitzboks proved too strong for a game USA side in a quarter-final encounter at the HSBC Sydney Sevens, running out 21-10 winners.

Converted from Justin Geduld, Chris Dry and Seabelo Senatla was enough to see the series leaders through, although they certainly didn't have it all their own way after Carlin Isles opened the scoring for the United States.

The Blitzboks now face Australia in the semi-finals.
