Blitzboks beat England, into quarters

Cape Town - It was tense, but the Blitzboks beat England 10-0 in their final pool match on Saturday to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Cape Town Sevens.

South Africa had gone into the match needing a win to qualify for the knockouts of the Cup after a shocking loss to Kenya earlier in the day, but a try in each half from Juan de Jongh and then Rayno Benjamin calmed the nerves of the 48 000 people in attendance at Cape Town Stadium.

The Blitzboks finished second in their pool behind Kenya, while England have been eliminated from the Cup.
