Blitzbokke beaten by Kenya

Cape Town - The Springbok Sevens side's poor run of form continued on Saturday after they lost to Kenya in the Cup quarter-finals of the Sevens World Series event in Wellington, New Zealand.

South Africa lost 21-20, after leading 15-7 at half-time.

Paul Treu's men outscored their opponents by four tries to three but poor goal-kicking from Philip Snyman saw him fail to convert any of the conversions.

SA now play Australia in the Plate semi-finals at 07:00 (SA time).
