Blitzbokke suffer Brown blow

Johannesburg - Springbok Sevens captain Kyle Brown was withdrawn from the South African squad to play in the Glasgow Sevens next weekend.

He has not fully recovered from the concussion sustained in Hong Kong and was replaced by loose forward Shaun Adendorff.

The 12-man squad departs on Monday afternoon for the United Kingdom.

The Glasgow and London (May 10-11) tournaments are the last two of the HSBC Sevens World Series which consists of nine rounds.

South Africa are currently placed second and seven points behind leaders New Zealand on the log.
