Blitzbokke beaten by Pumas

Cape Town - The Blitzbokke have been beaten by Argentina in their opening HSBC World Sevens Series match in Hong Kong on Friday.

Paul Treu's team went down 21-0 to the Pumas after the teams were deadlocked at 0-0 at half-time.

The Pumas scored tries through Nicolas Bruzzone (2) and Juan Ignacio Brex. Valentin Cruz and Gaston Revol (2) added conversions.

The Blitzbokke will have to bounce back on Saturday when they face Australia (07:46) and Wales (14:00) if they wish to reach the Cup quarter-finals.

Wales beat Australia 19-14 in today's earlier Pool A clash.
