Serfontein scoops top Bulls prize

Pretoria - Centre Jan Serfontein was named Player of the Year at the annual Blue Bulls Player Awards on Wednesday.

According to the Bulls’ official website, the ceremony was held at very casual and relaxed event hosted on the Loftus B-Field.

The 21-year-old Springbok was the big winner of the day and was also named Super Rugby Back of the Year.

The other big winners included Victor Matfield, who was named Super Rugby Forward of the Year and Paul Willemse, who claimed the coveted Players' Player of the Year title.

Flyhalf Handre Pollard took home the award for Most Improved/Promising Super Rugby Player.
