Scots call up uncapped prop

Edinburgh - Scotland coach Andy Robinson has called up uncapped prop Ed Kalman for the opening two matches of the  Six Nations.

The 29-year-old Kalman replaces the injured Moray Low and is the seventh new player in a 36-man squad.

The Scottish Rugby Union says Kalman will report for a training camp next week.

Center Steven Shingler, winger Lee Jones, fullback Stuart Hogg, flyhalf Duncan Weir, flanker Robert Harley and utility forward Fraser McKenzie are the other uncapped players selected.

Scotland are waiting for the SRU to rule whether the Welsh-born Shingler is eligible to play.

Scotland start the Six Nations on February 4 at Murrayfield against defending champions England before visiting Wales the following weekend.
