Auckland - France scrumhalf Dimitri Yachvili will have lighter training this week as he bids to shake off a thigh injury in time to face Wales in Saturday's Rugby World Cup semifinal.
Yachvili sustained deep bruising to his thigh in Saturday's 19-12 quarter-final win against England.
France coach Marc Lievremont says "he will have a less (intensive) training program this week."
Yachvili came off midway through the second half and was replaced by Francois Trinh-Duc, with makeshift No 10 Morgan Parra switching back to scrumhalf.
Yachvili kicked two penalties in France's win at Eden Park.
