London - Jonny Wilkinson will attempt to fashion a new career by launching a clothing line with his brother.

On his way to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand, the England flyhalf announced he and Mark "Sparks" Wilkinson will unveil a brand they're calling Fineside.

Their plan, four years in the making, is to launch it online from Thursday.

"Sparks and I wanted to develop something special and with this clothing line I feel like we are definitely doing that," Wilkinson said. "Fineside is massively important to us."

The brothers, who used to play for Newcastle together, say they have been inspired by their sports careers to design comfortable and fashionable clothing suitable for outdoor and urban activities. The line includes T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, hooded tops, outerwear and accessories.

"We're starting small because we want to get this right and keep it honest," Jonny Wilkinson said. "We hope that in time we will be able to build and establish the brand."

He said he was keen to become more involved in fashion when his Toulon club contract ends in 2013.

Wilkinson follows into fashion former England players Fran Cotton and Phil Vickery, who also have clothing ranges.
