Cape Town - The first installment of "Tweet and Pic of the Day" sees most of our selected tweets focusing on the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony.
Springbok vice-captain Victor Matfield (@VictorMatfield) made his opinion about the team's World Cup chances known early this morning when he said: See there's a lot of clever people out there making predictions. For us its just focusing on what we can control. Taking it day for day."

Former Springbok flank and current Eastern Province Kings captain Luke Watson (@lukewatson6) joked about the red and black jersey being worn by the boy in the opening ceremony. “(Sic)That kid is wearing an EP Kings jersey… Nice ; )”
