Cape Town – The Rugby World Cup has ended and so has the Sport24 SuperBru Rugby World Cup megapool, where there could only be one winner.

Muller Coetzee, also known as “Kasparians”, from Pretoria is the Sport24 Rugby World Cup 2011 megapool champion!

Coetzee beat off over 3 500 other players to win a one year’s membership at Virgin Active.

He correctly predicted 44 of the 48 matches played in the tournament and led the megapool since Round 9.

Coetzee pipped Matt Collard also known as “Lions4eva” by virtue of his global total being 0.50 points better despite their pool totals being tied at 62.00 points.

Pool captain and Sport24 editor, Tank Lanning, had a tournament to forget, never finding himself in contention, despite predicting 38 out of 48 winners, and finished in 1 514th place.
