Cape Town - With Ireland’s victory over Australia in the Rugby World Cup this past weekend, it seems that the draw has now opened the way for a North vs South final on October 23.
According to Bet.co.za, New Zealand seem to be a shoo-in for a place in the final, with their opponents set to be either France or England (both at 33/10).
The Wallabies’ conquerors Ireland are at 45/10 to meet the All Blacks in the final, whilst Wales are 65/10 to face up to the haka at Eden Park in the final.
It appears that with that Irish victory over the Tri-Nations champions, the odds on the Springboks being in the final have lengthened, with Peter de Villiers’s men at 18/1 to meet England in the showpiece game while you might get some value in a mouth-watering Australia v Ireland rematch at 16/1.
