Wellington - Wales flyhalf Stephen Jones remains in doubt for his team's opening Rugby World Cup match against South Africa because of a calf injury.
The injury caused Jones to miss Wales' three World Cup warmup matches and he has been unable to train since the Welsh team arrived in Wellington to prepare for Sunday's match.
Wales assistant coach Rob Howley told a news conference Tuesday there was obvious doubt around Jones, who needs one more test to break Gareth Thomas's Welsh national record of 100 caps.
Howley said "Steve has continued to do his rehab. He hasn't taken a full part in training as of yet, and hopefully he will take a full part, probably tomorrow."
Jones' place will likely be taken by James Hook.
